Department of Information and Communication Technology under ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has been set its vision to “Establishing Knowledge-Based Economics and Good Governance by the use of Information Technology”. The government of Bangladesh has announced the commemoration of 17 March 2020– 26 March 2021 as the Mujib Year (Bengali: মুজিব বর্ষ) on the occasion of the centennial birth anniversary of the founding leader of the country, The Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The government has chalked out various programmes to be observed throughout the year. As a part of celebration Department of ICT, ICT Division taken initiative to knowing the Bangladesh politics and the birth of our nation by developing audiobook of ‘Oshomapto Attojiboni’ and ‘Karagarer Rojnamcha’, online news portals and blog about Bangabandhu and his political career, development philosophy, his constant struggle for Bengali peoples etc We are very fortunate that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has written some precious books for us in his short lifetime. There is a whole lot to learn from these books for the very common people as well as who are keen to learn politics. Bangabandhu’s two books ‘Oshomapto Attojiboni’ and ‘Karagarer Rojnamcha’ has immense magnitude in knowing the Bangladesh politics and the birth of our nation. Our main goal of this audiobook is to highlight the important stories or parts of these two books by using voice of the professional reciters. And before that, the context of the story will be provided descriptively on which Bangabandhu has written those lines. There are a lot of viewers of online news portals in Bangladesh and even in abroad to whom we can easily reach out with our news, videos and pictures. We want to use this opportunity and thus we will gather different writings from experienced writers about Bangabandhu, his political career, development philosophy, his constant struggle for Bengali peoples etc. We will publish these write-ups in different online news portals. We will fix the topics for the writers every month, so that they can focus on more and different subjects. In future, we may combine and publish these all articles as a publication. There are a lot of people who are very much keen to write about Bangabandhu, his political history, liberation war stories etc. but cannot publish for the lack of opportunity. We will create a blog site for those where write-ups will be published on Bangladesh, Bangabandhu and liberation war. This blog will consist of all kinds of write-ups such as articles, features, analytical writings, short stories, literature etc. It will be considered necessary to involve Bangabandhu in every article. This blog will be conducted in both Bengali and English languages.
